SoundDNA Playlist Analyzer
Your streaming history, decoded
What it is. SoundDNA Playlist Analyzer turns your Spotify or Apple Music listening history into a full portrait of your musical world: your longest-listened artists and tracks, a genre breakdown, your longest streak, even what hour of the day and which day of the week you listen most. It’s the data your streaming service already has on you — finally handed back in a shape that means something.
Upload the file Spotify already has on you — and get back the story it never bothered to tell you.
Streaming platforms will happily show you your top artists of the year. What they won’t tell you is why one album quietly took over four days of your life while a hundred others got a single play and vanished, or what it says about you that your listening peaks at midnight on a Tuesday. Playlist Analyzer doesn’t just count your plays — it hands the count back to you as a picture, not a spreadsheet. What you listen to is only half the story. This is where you get a proper look at the other half.
A note on timing. Getting your export isn’t SoundDNA’s call — it’s Spotify’s or Apple’s. Most files arrive within a day, but Spotify’s own policy reserves up to 30 days for delivery, plus a further window before their download link expires. Your access code stays valid for 45 days in total, so even the slowest export lands with room to spare.
A note on privacy. The analysis runs entirely in your browser: genres are matched against a dictionary built into the page, and no artist or track name is ever sent anywhere. Nothing about your listening history is uploaded, stored, or seen by us — the code simply confirms you’ve earned it.
1. Take the SoundDNA test, if you haven’t already. The moment you finish, you’ll get your access code — your reward for the time you gave us. Save it right away: it’s shown only once.
2. Request your listening-history export from Spotify or Apple Music — ordering instructions are just below.
3. Once the file arrives, open Playlist Analyzer, upload it, and enter your access code.
4. Get your results: a shareable graphic (PNG), a full report (PDF), and the complete track list (CSV) — every track you played, sorted by play count and total listening time, ready to explore on your own.
Note: Your code stays valid for 45 days, so you can run the analysis again with the same export any time in that window.
Your listening life in numbers — days, plays, artists, tracks, one glance at a time.
The genres and hours that shaped your year — recognised without a single artist name leaving your device.
Right down to which day of the week you listen most.
Every track you played, sorted and counted — yours to open, sort, and dig through on your own.
